How it works
Six steps, from application to acquisition. There are no passwords and no essays, and the price is the last thing you see, not the first.
Apply
Tell us how you collect and what draws you in. It takes two minutes. Every application is read by a person; nothing is scored or ranked.
Get approved
We write to you with the decision at the address you gave. Approved collectors are invited to the edition; where places are limited, some are offered a place on the waitlist.
Receive your pass
Your pass arrives for Apple Wallet and Google Wallet, and shows in the app as well. It checks you in at the venue, even when the venue has no connection, and from then on buying asks for no further sign-in. Collecting from elsewhere? Verification and payment set-up are completed before the day, so the day itself holds nothing extra.
Reveal the price
Each work is presented first as a work. When you are ready, ask for the price. It appears together with the full cost of bringing the work to you: framing, shipping, an estimate of duties, and insurance.
Reserve
Reserving holds the work for you alone, for a short while, with the timer on the screen. If another collector got there first, you are told at once and can move on. Works expected to be in demand open an allocation window instead, with the rule stated before it opens.
Buy
Confirm the purchase while the hold lasts. Your payment is authorised, the sale is recorded, and only then is the payment taken. Your certificate of authenticity is issued at that moment, and you follow the work’s journey from the venue to your door, milestone by milestone.
